After months of rightfully criticizing President Obama on his weak and ineffectual foreign policy and hesitation to confront the ISIS, or ISL threat, Senator Marco Rubio (R) has come out in support of Obama’s new “War on Terror”.
“I support the President’s actions to target ISIL’s (sic) facilities in Syria. I have argued for months that President Obama has the authority to confront this threat to the United States wherever they seek refuge. Defeating this menace to all who value freedom and tolerance will not be easy, but is essential to our security. My thoughts and prayers are with our men and women in uniform carrying out their duties as part of ongoing operations in Iraq and Syria.”-Senator Marco Rubio
Rubio, who unlike the President, is not afraid to call ISL’s aggression as being part of radical Islam, has also question Obama’s position of not deploying U.S. Military troops, and said that he shouldn’t have ruled out the possibility of using American “boots on the ground.”
