Floridians will have the opportunity to cast their vote for or against the legalization of marijuana in this November’s mid-term elections, as the pro-pot lobby was able to garner enough votes to get the measure put on the ballot.
For the measure to pass, 60 percent of Floridians must vote in favor of legalizing marijuana, but the latest poll shows that support for the move has dropped to 61 percent with only about two months until the November 4 election.Broward College’s south campus in Pembroke Pines, Florida, hosted a spirited debate between representatives of the two opposing sides of the medical marijuana debate, Drug Free Florida and United For Care.
The event brought out some very “interesting” individuals, to say the least.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
During the Q & A portion of the debate, all of the attendees who voiced their opinions supported making marijuana legal.
One man, Matthew Grande, made the case for the anti-pot lobby, as to why marijuana should be kept illegal. Grande’s mostly unintelligible rant directed towards Drug Free Florida’s Javier Correoso has the highlight of the day.
It’s about the medical, man.-Matthew Grande
It was obvious that Grande has probably smoked too much of the stuff, or “Cannabis,” he was so adamantly defending should be used for medicinal purposes.
Watch the video, its’ pretty comical.
Perhaps Grande should have taking some tips on how to get his message across from Vietnam Veteran, Tim Mullen.
Mullen, who said he was deemed 100% disabled due to the Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) he suffers from, also stated that there were lot of veterans from all wars, smoking marijuana to cope with injuries they have sustained defending their country.Watch the video.
