Emmy award-winning TV News anchor Debra Norville went on South Florida’s Paul and Young Ron’s radio show to presumably talk about her 20-year-long stint on “Inside Edition,” as well as talk about the recent passing of her good friend Joan Rivers.
I have the local classic rock station BIG 105.9 locked into my radio, and every morning that I have to go do a TV hit at NewsmaxTV, so I listen to Paul and Young Ron on the drive up to Palm Beach County where the studio is situated. When I heard Norville talk about Palin, I couldn’t really make out if she was taking a dig at Palin or not, so I asked myself,” did she just take a swipe at Palin?”
“You Betcha” she took a swipe at Palin
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Norville’s appearance started out by her asking the hosts, Paul Castronovo and Young Ron, if she could play their trademark Q&A games.
Of course, the hosts obliged here request to play the game, and to limit it to one “easy” question.
Castronovo: What northern redneck thing was Sarah Palin’s family involved in?A) A drunken fight at a snowmobile party
B) Midnight moose hunting
C) Eskimo hunting
Norville: It should be all of the above, but the actual answer is ‘A’
(Palin’s son Track and daughter Bristol, were both involved in a fist fight a few days ago)
Norville: Ok, let me ask you that, just as a follow up, wouldn’t you want to ask John McCain if he is sorry now?
Castronovo: Of course he is.(Norville laughs)
Norville: Honestly, when Sarah Palin was nominate I was traveling, you know we weren’t glued to Twitter like we now are, and my husband texted me and said, “Do you know Sarah Palin?”
I honestly thought is was somebody who went to our church
Castronovo brought up the fact that Palin had said that she should apology to John McCain for whatever reason.
A few days back, Palin jokingly apologized on FOX’s “Hannity” Show for costing John McCain the 2008 election, when in reality McCain would have probably lost by a larger margin to Barack Obama, if not for Palin.Norville: She should be so grateful to John McCain, nobody would know who she is, there would be no reality show for Bristol, there would be no moose hunting show on the Sportsman’s channel.
So, should Palin be “so grateful” to John “I love Amnesty” McCain for putting her on the map?
Listen to the podcast with Norville and Paul and Young Ron. Fast forward to minute 28 of the audio clip.
