Hayworth, left-leaner Rick Ungar and I strangely agreed on how American civil the in the months and years following the 9/11 attacks.“There needs to be a tradeoff here and we have a lot of civil liberties which we’re all appreciative of, but after 9/11, things changed…The whole dynamics of how the world functions changed and our civil liberties were at risk. Now the tradeoff here is national security.”-Javier Manjarres
I believe most Americans will agree that compromising a little bit of our civil liberties in the name of national security is plausible.
