Appearing Friday on NewsMaxTV, veteran political reporter, Javier Manjarres offered his insight and opinion into the controversial video released by the Department of State to reach on to moderate Muslims.
The video, described by America’s Forum host, JD Hayworth as a “derecruitment video”. The video shows the barbaric nature of ISIS, bombings, crucifixion, and bodies in ditches.Despite this attempt to derecruit Muslims from joining the ISIS, Manjarres believes that this video indeed will have the opposite effect, instead emboldening the terrorists’ barbaric plans.
“If [the State Dept] is trying to change the minds of radical Islamists or American jihadists here to not travel to join ISIS…look that’s what they want. They expect to die. This I think would embolden them …”-Javier Manjarres
