Florida Governor Rick Scott continued his week-long “Let’s Keep Working” bus tour in Palm Beach County, making two stops in Boca Raton, before heading d to the Miami ‘Boogie Down’ for a stop at the famed La Carreta restaurant on Byrd Road.
During a bus ride between his Boca Raton events, Scott, who was accompanied by golfer Jack Nicklaus, spoke to reporters about the status of his re-election campaign, all while stirring the bus’ tires over his opponent Charlie Crist’s past track record as Governor of Florida.Scott was asked what he thought made Crist “tick” everyday. Scott answered by saying that the former governor “ran away” from his old job, and was probably ” frustrated because he doesn’t have a track record to run on,” in addition to not being able to “turn the economy around.”
Scott then added that Crist does have a past record as governor, but it’s “not one that he wants to run on.”
