Did Democrat gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist just flex those union-developed political muscles of his, and bully out one of the moderators of his upcoming October 15 debate against Governor Rick Scott?
According to Matt Dixon at Political Fix Florida, Observer Media Group CEO Matt Walsh will be replaced by Frank Denton of the Florida Times Union, apparently because Team Crist took issue with a $250 donation Walsh made to Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign. This sort of political thuggery is nothing new to Crist and his campaign staff, considering that just a few weeks ago, Tampa Bay Times political editor, Adam Smith, was not allowed to ride on Crist’s campaign bus.
Smith wrote an in-depth and on-point profile of the Republican-turned-Independent-turned-Democrat politico, which all but skewered Crist, striking a nerve that forced Crist to ban Smith from the “happy warrior” ride-along.

Now, let’s go back to August 2010, when Crist was running for the U.S. Senate against Senator Marco Rubio.
Remember when Crist attended a Democrat club event in Coconut Creek, Florida, where he famously mocked Republicans when he “thanked God” he was no longer a Republican?
Well, shortly after his address to a couple hundred blue-haired Democrats, Crist took questions from reporters just outside the meeting hall regarding his old pal Jim Greer, the 911 Mosque, as well as the status of his Senatorial campaign.Crist was asked about the construction of a controversial mosque in New York City, but when asked if a construction permit should also be granted to the Christian church that was destroyed on Sept. 11, 2001, Crist ignored the question and walked away, but not until one of his handlers purposely delivered a body blow to the cameraman (me) and the camera. Just one month later, Crist’s campaign and supporters used the same thuggish tactics at an event held by Teamster’s in Tampa, Florida, where they once again assaulted the cameraman (me) during another media availability with reporters. (Source-Video)
