As expected, the temporary cease-fire between Israel and Hamas was short-lived. The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) targeted for assassination, Hamas’ military chief, Mohammad Deif after islamist militants shot rockets into Israel.
The Times of Israel reported that a house believed to be the home of Mohammed Deif, was hit early Wednesday. Dief has escaped numerous Israeli assassination attempts in the past. It was not immediately clear whether he was there at the time of the attack. The paper also reported that the strike killed Dief’s wife and infant son…”With the assumption that Israel was behind this, it shows its intelligence capabilities…and it is an important indication that no head of the Hamas military wing is immune to a targeted killing,” he added.-FOX
Tree-hugging peace activists need to stop holding out hope that this decades-long conflict between Israel and is neighboring enemies will someday end.
