The latest “Q” poll, or Quinnipiac University poll, has Democrat gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist with a slight lead over Florida Governor Rick Scott.
The poll has Crist topping Scott, 45-40. But when you throw Libertarian gubernatorial candidate, Adrian Wyllie into the mix, Crist’s lead is reduced to 39-37 percent.
The same poll has Crist unfavorables at around 42 percent, while Scott’s is at 45 percent.
Even with Crist’s lead over Scott dropping considerably since April’s “Q” poll, media types and political know-it-alls question how Scott has expended millions of dollars in attack ads against Crist, only to get him somewhat even this late in the game.
