As expected, an activist judge in the Florida Keys has overturned Florida’s ban on gay marriage, or same-sex marriage, citing that the ban was unconstitutional.

 Circuit Judge Luis Garcia in Monroe County ruled that a 6-year-old provision in the Florida Constitution outlawing same-sex marriage violates the U.S. Constitution.-OS

 Monroe County, Florida, now becomes the only county in the state to allow gays to marry.

 Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi has immediatley filed a “notice of appeal,” and looks forward to see this case and others have its day in the U.S. Supreme Court.
