Members of the House and Senate met in the Capitol to discuss ideas and difference, in hopes to come to an agreement on overhauling the embattled Department of Veteran’s Affairs.
Florida’s U.S. Senator Marco Rubio, who along with fellow Floridian, Congressman Jeff Miller (R), first introduced legislation in their respective chambers to reign in the VA, were both in attendance, as well as Florida Congresswoman Corrine Brown. For a while, it wasn’t clear if Brown was going to show up to the meeting, but at the very last minute, Brown became the very last member of Congress to arrive.
Congresswoman Brown shocked everyone a few months back when she stated that the VA had “no problems in Florida.”
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
When it was her turn to address the committee, Brown seemed a bit bothered and frustrated over talk of “dismantling” the VA.
Brown said that she was “not going to be a part of dismantling the system,” and added that “Veterans are satisfied with the system.”The VA is one of the best systems in the United States of America, as far as Veteran’s healthcare are concerned [sic]-Rep. Corrine Brown
