The influential East Side Tea Party in the Orlando, Florida area, which is ran by activist Peter Lee, just held a debate for the Republican congressional primary candidates in FL-CD 9.
The three candidates-Jorge Bonilla, Peter Vivaldi, and Carol Platt- are vying to get the opportunity to face-off against Democrat Congressman Alan Grayson. The debate was spirited with both Vivaldi and Bonilla taking shots at one another, Vivaldi picking up where he left off last Friday in accusing Bonilla of foul play, when the three attended a debate put on by four Republican Party clubs in Kissimmee, Florida.
Bonilla shot back by stating that his campaign has composed itself completely “above board,” as well as referencing Vivaldi as being “our friend on the left.”
