Embattled and compromised GOP congressional candidate, Peter Vivaldi, has finally admitted that he was once arrested for committing a felony, but continued to dodge the question of why he stated on an application for appointment for an elected position, that he was never arrested.
During the Republican congressional debate put together by the East Side Tea Party in Orlando, Florida, an attendee asked the candidates-Jorge Bonilla, Carol Platt, and Peter Vivaldi- if they have ever been arrested. Both Bonilla and Platt said no, while Vivaldi answered he had been “taken in” some 25 years ago for passing a bad check. According to Orange County public records, Vivaldi was charged with one felony count of “knowingly” writing a bad check.
No on has an issue with the fact that Vivaldi has been arrested, considering that most people know someone who has made an arrestible mistake in their past, including myself. I was once arrested in 1995 for beating up some guy and breaking his door.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Watch this video of Vivaldi takes a play right out of Alan Grayson’s playbook, as he continues to dodge the question asked to him at the last two Republican congressional primary debates. Vivaldi first refused to answer the arrest question at the first debate in Kissimmee this past Friday. Read Vivaldi’s entire application for elected office here.
In addition, Vivaldi’s “media consultant” and hack pay-to-play blogger, the waify Jacob Engels, who weighs about 85 lbs wet, can be seen assaulting me for asking Vivaldi the question he refuses to answer.
The rest of Vivaldi’s supporters can be seen at the previous debate batting at the camera.
With the fact that Vivaldi lied on a job application to the state of Florida, it is safe to say that if Vivaldi were to prevail in the primary race against Platt and Bonilla, Democrat Congressman Alan Grayson would surely wipe the floor with Vivaldi’s criminal past, as well as his lack of ethics. Realistically, Vivaldi cannot win a general election against Grayson.
Oh by the way, Bonilla won the straw poll conducted by the East Side Tea Party by an overwhelming margin of victory.
Jorge Bonilla- 79%
Peter Vivaldi- 13%
Carol Platt- 8%
