Former state Senator and current Democrat gubernatorial candidate, Nan Rich, has painted herself as being the only true Democrat in her primary race against Charlie Crist. Count her brush strokes because she is the only life-long and blue-bleeding Democrat running for governor of Florida.
That isn’t big news, since everyone (including the Pope) knows the Crist is only running as a Democrat to have a better chance of beating Florida Governor Rick Scott in the November primary election.Rich has just called out both Scott and Crist as being “two peas in a pod” who govern in the same way by “hide from debates,” distorting their records, and only “make up for it with huge campaign budgets.”
Rich points out that both men have taken the position of opposing healthcare reform, been in support of school vouchers, and have been anti-woman.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Whether Rich is correct in her assertions or not, the truth is that Crist once supported all of Rick Scott’s present and past positions on issues, including being Pro-Life.
Crist has refused to debate Rich, saying that the “real” candidate he needs to focus on is Rick Scott. As many Floridians can attest to, Crist debated Senator Marco Rubio in the 2010 Republican U.S. Senate primary race, where he was asked if he would going to leave the GOP and run as an Independent.
Crist said he would continue his senatorial candidacy as a Republican, but shortly lied there after, and switched his political affiliation to Independent.
