The recent video interview between Fusion TV’s Jorge Ramos and Democrat Charlie Crist is nothing less than priceless.
When Ramos asked Crist why he left the Republican Part, Crist quickly tried to say that the GOP left him, but to Ramos credit, he quickly cut Crist off and said,” You left the Republican party because you were going to lose to Marco Rubio.”Crist disagreed by saying the he left because of Republican leadership “went off the cliff,” and veered ” hard right.”
Hmmm? Not sure what Crist’s most recent definition of being “hard right” is, but perhaps it is the same pro-gun, pro-life, less taxes, traditional marriage, and less government intrusion positions the GOP has always held?
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
You know, the very same principles and positions that Crist once championed when he was that self-proclaimed “commonsense conservative.”
After all, Crist did say he wasn’t going to “change his stripes”, adding that he has always been “pro-life, pro-gun, pro family, and anti-tax.”
Crist then admitted to struggling with his inner flip-flop, and couldn’t be as consistent with himself and his core beliefs, before he called the Republican Party racist for being “unfriendly to an African-American President.”
I couldn’t be consistent with myself and my core beliefs, and stay with a party that was so unfriendly to the African-American President, I’ll just go there.-Charlie Crist
Ramos pressed him on his most recent flip-flop of supporting in-state tuition for illegal immigrants, which Crist couldn’t and didn’t not disagree with him on.
Now that I am liberated as Democrat, my true soul is able to be seen, and I couldn’t be happier about it.-Charlie Crist
