U.S. Senator Bill Nelson, is doing what his fellow Democrat Charlie Crist is known to do, flip-flop. Nelson is once again mulling over a decision to run for Governor of Florida.
Nelson first stated that he was entertaining the idea, later backing down off the suggestion that he would challenge Charlie Crist in a Democrat gubernatorial primary. Now Nelson is saying that he is “tempted to run because he doesn’t like where Florida is headed.”
Nelson thinks that Florida Governor Rick Scott and the GOP-led Florida legislature’s decision to refuse wasteful federal dollars to fund and establish a high-speed rail line between Orlando and Tampa, as well as “provide health care to 1.2 million low-income Floridians,”(Medicaid expansion) was “not only a shame,” but a “moral abscess.”
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
If Nelson is seriously considering running for Governor of Florida, he better put some pep in his political step and announce before the May 2 filing cut-off date.
