The squishy Charlie Crist Republican wing of the Republican Party continues to push their moderate-to-liberal legislative agenda upon Floridians, even after their Savior left the GOP. Crist is currently challenging Republican Governor Rick Scott for governor of Florida, but this time as a Democrat.
Former Charlie Crist supporter, Senator Jack Latvala has introduced a pro-illegal immigration bill in the Florida Senate, which would grant in-state tuition for illegal immigrants.Rick Scott, who has expressed support for Latvala’s bill, will face considerable push-back from conservatives who are already riding the fence in support of his re-election, if he were to sign off on the bill, or any bill containing in-state tuition for illegal aliens language.
Scott,who has been making a hard push to garner the Hispanic votes, is running the risk of coming across as a panderer to the coveted voting bloc by supporting illegal immigration bills like the one Latvala has penned.

While these conservatives won’t vote for the Crist, they may very well sit this election out, making Scott’s re-election effort that much harder than what it already is.
Latvala’s bill has been blocked by Senator Joe Negron. But this is not stopping Latvala from trying to push his bill through. If you are wondering how Latvala can sneak his illegal immigration bill through the legislature, well just read what his petulant mini-me son Chris is saying.

I am no conspiracy theorist, but could there be some underlying effort to hurt Rick Scott’s re-election effort, and help Crist, who as governor would probably be more gratuitous to sketchy politicians like Latvala and his little boy?
Yes, both Latvala’s have gone on the record denouncing Crist, and supporting Rick Scott. But their close support and relationship with liberal blogger Peter Schorsch, who is Crist’s biggest cheerleader and supporters, not to mention that his wife Michele(who Latvala has paid $5K to) is working for Crist, needs to be drawn into question.
Schorsch, who writes on his SaintPravdablog website, has been trying to reinvent himself as a moderate, but uses the liberal Daily Kos platform to post his anti-Scott rants, thinking that no one is paying attention.
This is the same Schorsch that has conveniently scrubbed all of the anti-Marco Rubio posts from his website, and has been pegged by the Tampa Bay Times as being a pay-for-play blogger.
Considering that Crist lacks moral scrupples, and is known for “helping” his friends out while he was governor of Florida, is it a stretch to think that Schorsch, the Latvala’s, and other past Charlie Crist Republicans would not embrace another term in office for Bain de Soleil Charlie?
