Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) appeared on NBC’s “Meet the Press” this past Sunday, vehemently opposing the notion that Democrats will lose big in this years 2014 midterm elections, and defended the disastrous Obamacare law, which the Obama administration claims it has enrolled 8 million people.
This 8 million enrollee number is highly questionable after it was discovered that the Department of Health and Human services sent out pre-deadline letters telling Americans that they had already started Obamacare applications for them, and that they merely had to log onto the Healthcare.gov website and complete those applications.Senator Ted Cruz called the reported Obamacare totals as being “funny numbers,” after learning about the HHS letter.
Wasserman Schultz used here usual Motes Operandi of calling Republicans Tea Party extremists” to make her case against the growing consensus that the Democrats will underperform on election day.
Democrats were able to turn out the vote in 2012, but it remains to be seen if the voters, even the hardcore liberal base of the Democrat party, will be able to turn out and vote for Democrat incumbents and candidates, who have supported the unpopular Obamacare law.take our poll - story continues belowDo you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)

They are weighed down by Republican primaries in which the Tea Party candidates are the likely winners,” she went on. “And we have countless elections now that Democrats have won because the Republicans have nominated extremists that their voters reject. And that’s the advantage we will have going into this election.”
“This election is going to be quite competitive all the way to the end,” Schultz added. “But we have to return our voters out, that’s the bottom line.” –HuffPo
