Democrat Senator Bill Nelson has agreed to support his friend Senator Marco Rubio’s recently filed VA Management Accountability Act.
Rubio’s bill, which is also mirrored by a bill introduced over on the House by Representative Jeff Miller(R-FL),calls for the Veteran’s Administration to provide more “accountability for itself after reports have surfaced about the department’s backlog of disability benefits, and the growing toll of 31 preventable veteran deaths at VA medical facilities around the country, including the hospital in Miami, Florida.”
Shortly after Nelson and Rubio concluded their press conference in Miami supporting the Venezuelan community over Dictator and thug Nicholas Maduro, the Shark Tank caught up with Nelson while he was speaking to reporters about the recent Veteran’s Administration woes.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Nelson gave a definitive “Yes” when we asked him directly if he would be supporting Rubio’s VA reform bill.
By agreeing to the bill, Nelson becomes the first Democrat in the entire Congress to buck big government and federal unions, by committing support to a bill that calls for the VA’s to clean up its act.
