Another one of the authors of controversial comprehensive Senate immigration reform bill may now be having change of mind on issue.
Florida Senator Marco Rubio has already back-peddled on immigation, saying that he now supports a “piecemeal” approach to addressing the problem. The Shark Tank caught up with Arizona Senator Jeff Flake (R) in Washington, D.C., and we asked him if he still stood by his one-size-fits-all approach to immigration reform.
Flake said, “I am for whichever way we can get it through, I’ll do it piecemeal, we’ll do it comprehensive, whatever we can get.”

The Senator seemed to agree that a piecemeal approach will probably be the route that will Congress will take, if and when the issues is taken up again, taking into consideration that the Republican-led House of Representatives is staunchly against a comprehensive immigration reform bill.
Flake added that he is still hopeful that “there’s away forward” with immigration reform, “but that the house will likely vote piecemeal if they do it at all.”
On former Florida Governor Jeb Bush’s recent immigration reform “Act of Love” remark, Flake said that he was it, because that is how he’s felt for a long time.
