State Senator Lizbeth Benacquisto’s congressional campaign woes continue as she is once again dodging another public forum or event. This coming Thursday, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin will be in Naples, Florida, with Benacquisto, and will be co-hosting a $500 a person fundraiser to benefit Benacquisto’s campaign, the same night as the League of Women Voters meet-and-greet forum on Sanibel Island.
Benacquisto initially said that she would not be attending the event because of her legislative duties in Tallahassee, Florida, but will now be in the congressional district to host the high-dollar fundraiser with Palin.Fundraisers generate donations, which fuel campaigns. Everyone understands this, so if an opportunity to raise big cash with the likes of Sarah Palin presents itself, seize it.
The problem that Benacquisto has is that she originally said that she couldn’t make it because of a conflict with her job as state Senator, but now has apparently been able to deal with that conflict in order to attend the fundraiser, and not the forum.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Benacquisto’s Republican primary opponents, Paige Kreegel, Curt Clawson, and Michael Dreikorn, will all be attending the League of Women forum.
Could Palin’s Southwest Florida visit be enough to salvage Benacquisto’s fledgling campaign, which is said to be low on funds?
