Washington, D.C.-Florida Congressman Alan Grayson sat down for an interview with Truthdig, where he discussed the “suffering” that his constituents are enduring, especially illegal immigrants, who because of their immigration status, cannot complain to authorities about any exploitation they maybe a victim of.
It’s particularly vocal among the undocumented. You can’t go anywhere in my district, and not run into people who are undocumented, literally, you can go to the supermarket, and as you walk into the supermarket, you’ll pass three or four people who have no papers.-Rep. Alan Grayson
Grayson makes it sound as if his congressional district is some “Third-world” country. The reality is the district is comprised of 40% Hispanics, the majority of them being Puerto Rican, who just happen to all be U.S. citizens.
Is Grayson checking the citizenship papers of all Hispanics entering supermarkets in his congressional district, or is he just saying that because an individual is Hispanic, they might be an illegal immigrant?
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Grayson will most likely face-off against Republican Navy veteran, Jorge Bonilla, who many believe will give Grayson a tough reelection challenge.
