This is just too rich to pass up. State house candidate and Charlie Crist Republican Richard “Dick” DeNapoli has sent out an email stating that his campaign has reached their petition goal to qualify for the 2014 Republican primary election in HD 74.
A Liberal blog shilling for DeNapoli, may have jumped the gun by reporting that DeNapoli actually qualified by petition.Receiving the required 1,154 petition signatures — other than clearly showing “fiscal conservatism in action” by not having to pay the $1,781.82 fee — DeNapoli demonstrates to detractors that he does have grassroots community support.-Liberal blog
As of today, March 12, 2014, the Florida Supervisor of Elections still has DeNapoli’s campaign status as ” Filed intent to qualify by petition method.” For those of you in Rio Linda (H/T Rush Limbaugh), this means that DeNapoli has not qualified by petition, yet.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Oops!
It seems as if DeNapoli’s desperate attempt to try and garner momentum for his fledgling campaign does not stop here. Oh by the way, DeNapoli is in a contested primary race against Orthopedic surgeon Julio Gonzalez.
DeNapoli recently mailed a campaign advertisement, which included a picture of him posing with Senator Marco Rubio. This picture is the same 2010 picture that Rubio’s senate campaign demanded that DeNapoli stop using it on campaign literature when he was running for Chairman of the Broward County GOP.
At the time the picture was taken, Rubio was attending a Victory office opening in Coral Springs, Florida. How do I know this? I was there. What is really funny is, after the picture was taken, and as we were walking out the back door, Rubio turned to me laughed about how he couldn’t believe “that guy” (DeNapoli) had the gall to take a picture with him.
During Rubio’s historic 2010 Senate race, DeNapoli heckled Rubio on two occasions, questioning the future Senator about why he thought he could beat Charlie Crist. After Crist switched to being an Independent, DeNapoli kept the Charlie Crist for Senate bumper sticker on his car, and even told a group of past Chairmen of the Broward Republican Executive Committee that Rubio was still going to lose against Crist.
Rubio is not the only politician whose likeliness DeNapoli is exploiting on his campaign mailers. On another mailer, DeNapoli shamelessly affixes pictures of him posing with, CFO Jeff Atwater, AG Commissioner Adam Putnam, Governor Rick Scott, Allen West, and Mitt Romney.
Pathetic. Seriously, who is advising this guy?
