Democrats are pushing hard to make it easier for convicted felons to be able to vote in Florida. Congresswoman Kathy Castor (D) is leading the charge, and is pressing Florida Governor Rick Scott to ease the current voting restriction on felons.
This is an obvious election year tactic by Castor and Democrats, who hope that this move, as well as many others up the Democrat Party’s sleeve, will keep voters from focusing on the one issue that is gutting any chance Democrats have for victory in 2014, Obamacare. The majority of convicted felons are minorities, who according to any of the latest voting numbers, tend to vote Democrat. Get the picture?
Scott’s Democrat opponent in his governor’s race, is none other than that rascally Republican-turned-Independent-turned Democrat, Charlie Crist. The men are at opposite ends of this debate.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
But what do Floridians think about making it easier for convicted felons, who are said to have paid back their debt to society, to be able to vote? Take the poll.
