According to everyone’s favorite “serial political flip-flopper,” Republican-turned-Independent-turned Democrat, Charlie Crist, Republicans who oppose any of President Obama’s failed economic, domestic, and foreign policies, including his Stimulus Act of 2009, and disastrous Obamacare law, are racist.
Crist has been on quite a roll this week, as he managed to insult Cuban-Americans, by echoing Fidel Castro’s position that Cubans were suffering on the island because of the U.S. embargo against his regime, as insulting millions of Republicans by calling them racists.The Crist detonated race nuke when he appeared on the Colbert Report, and made the following ridiculous remark:
“No. 1, he was there to talk about the Recovery Act, the stimulus. And a lot Republicans took issue with that,” Crist said. “Sadly I think another part of it was that he was a Democrat, but not just a Democrat, an African-American.”- Charlie Crist

Now Crist is being called out to as being the political opportunist that Americans, especially Floridians, have grown to deplore.
Congressman Steve Southerland (R-FL) is just the latest elected officials to voice their disgust with Crist’s attention-seeking and race-baiting political tactics.
Charlie Crist is insulting the people of Florida by alleging that those of us who oppose Obamacare are doing so based on race, and not the fact that the law is driving up premiums and forcing people to lose their existing coverage. His latest effort to divide Floridians is shameful and smacks of political opportunism. –Rep. Steve Southerland (R)
