Self-described “outsider” congressional candidate Curt Clawson, believes that there is a limit to how far President Barack Obama can push his executive authority, before he facing possible “legal repercussions.”
During a sit down interview with the political newbie, we asked Clawson if the President was making the case for Republicans to potentially impeach him down the road.Early in 2013, former Congressman Trey Radel, who Clawson is looking to replace in the House of Representatives after having to resign because he was arrested for buying cocaine, was asked the very same question.
Radel stated that “all options should to be on the table” when asked about the possibility of other Republicans initiating impeachment proceedings.”
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Here is what Clawson said about Obama’s overstepping his authority:
I think that we get into very difficult quicksand, when as a country, we start forgetting about the Constitution, and if his way of getting away from the Constitution is with his pen and his phone as he says, I think that we are getting into dangerous territory. And depending on how far he goes, I think that there could be some legal repercussions. I believe strongly that the Founding Fathers knew what they were doing, and a President shouldn’t overstep his bounds for any reason.- Curt Clawson
Many Americans believe that President Obama is skirting, and in some cases, illegally trampling on the Constitution.
