Republican State Senator Jack Latvala has inexplicably told a bold face lie about his past hiring of Charlie Crist loyalist and lackey, Michelle Todd, even as state finance records show payments made to her as late as 2012.
In a Facebook message to Tampa Bay area resident Michael Pinson, Senator Latvala denied paying Charlie Crist’s liberal blogger Peter “Big Boy” Schorsch from his political campaign, as well as his wife, Michelle Todd. More on Schorsch here.Latvala said that “3 years ago long before Crist was a Democrat and when I represented St Petersburg I used Michele Todd for community outreach.”
If Latvala contracted Todd to do some “community outreach” for his campaign three years ago, the year would be 2011, or perhaps even late 2010, right?

But according to those state finance records, Latvala actually paid Todd for consulting services in 2012.

As the record shows, Latvala paid $5K to Todd in (5) $1000 payments in 2012.

Considering that this is all public record, why would someone who desperately wants to become Senate President, tell a dumb lie like this?
As I scratch my head at this, I begin to wonder if old age is taking a toll, and has played a part in Latvala’s decision-making.
