In a move that will eventually turn out to bite the U.S. and its allies in the political butt, President Obama & company have agreed to send more weapons to Iraq to fend off Al Qaeda terrorists, who have taken control of Fallujah and Ramadi.
Vice President Joe “Say it aint so Joe ” Biden apparently sealed the deal with Iraq’s PM Nouri al-Maliki, and no the Pentagon spokesman has confirmed that the U.S. will be sending “several thousand” M-16 and M-4 assault rifles. It goes without saying that these weapons will need ammunition to fire, so bullets will also be sent.Maliki also requested an additional 100 Hellfire missiles, a second U.S. defense official told Fox News. That request must be approved by Congress, however.-Fox News
According to Fox News, “the United States has delivered more than $14 billion in equipment, services and training to the Iraqi military and security forces since 2005, according to Department of Defense statistics. In the past year alone, the United States delivered six C-130J aircraft and a Rapid Avenger surface-to-air missile battery. Additionally, a total of 140 M1A1 tanks have been provided between 2010 and 2012.”

White House SPOX says that these militant violence would have taken place even if the U.S. still had a presence there, citing that this was a common occurrence when there were 150,000 U.S. troops in country.
Does anyone else besides me see where this is going? Unfortunately, these weapons will somehow, some way find themselves in the hands of Al Qaeda and other Islamist terrorist that mean to do us, and our allies harm.Once again, we will be arming the enemies with our own weapons. Way to go Barack!
