Back in early 2010, when former Republican-turned-Independent-turned-Democrat Charlie Crist was still barely a Republican, the attended the annual Christian Family Coalition breakfast in Miami, where he addressed reporters after the event on whether or not Rubio was trustworthy or not, regurgitating one of his most famous campaign slogans, “I am pro-life, I am pro-gun, I am pro-family, and I am anti-tax.”
Crist was asked to comment about the fact that Rubio’s accusing him of opposing the overturning of the controversial abortion law Roe vs. Wade, a question to which Crist answered, “he’s right, I don’t.”Crist added, ” I am pro-life and I believe instead of change laws, change hearts. It’s what I said when I ran for governor, and I still believe that, I am not going to change my stripes.”
I am pro-life, I am pro-gun, and I am pro-family, and I am anti-tax and I always have been, and I think that’s abundantly clear, that’s what people want, someone who will just tell them the truth.-Charlie Crist (R, no wait. I, now wait. D)
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Richard DeNapoli (middle of video, with camera), who is running against conservative Sarasota surgeon Julio Gonzalez for State House seat 74, can be seen nodding his head in agreement to what Crist was saying that day.
Crist is correct in saying that voters want someone who will tell them the truth. But what is the real truth behind Crist’s ever-changing positions on certain key issues? Will voters believe Charlie or Governor Rick Scott? Bet on Scott.
