With Congressman Trey Radel recent pleading guilty to possession of Cocaine, many politicos, pundits, and Republican officials, have been calling for the freshman congressman to step down.
Maybe Radel should step down, or maybe not? Radel has said that he will return to work, after he completes is drug rehabilitation program.

I tend to believe that everyone deserves a second chance. Radel screwed up in a big way, but if he truly has a substance abuse problem, like many other Americans do, should he be given another shot, but only after he finds the help that he needs?
I understand that the attack ads against a sitting member of Congress, who has plead guilty to any offense, especially a drug charge, will be brutal in nature, and would reflect on the entire political party to which he or she is associated with. I get it.
