Florida Congressman Alan Grayson (D) has made a name for himself by using ‘colorful’ rhetoric,  such as  “callous bigoted tools.”to describe Republicans  throughout his past and present terms in the U.S. Congress.

While Grayson is considered one of the brightest minds in the House of Representatives, many within his own Democratic caucus, take issue with his crass and inflammatory approach to ridiculing his Republican counterparts, as well as their supporters.

But, aside from partisan politics, and who really is to blame for the government shutdown, it is fair to assume that both Democrats and Republicans can agree on one thing.

Alan Grayson wears the worst ties in the U.S. Congress.

I have met many Congressmen, who have worn bad ties, both Republican and Democrat. But hands down, Grayson is ‘El Campeon’ (The Champ) of the eye-popping ties.

A tie does not make you a good or bad legislator, but it sure makes people question,  how the heck you can leave your house every morning wearing a tie that can probably be found be sold along the Florida Turnpike, and that even Ronald McDonald wouldn’t wear?
