Charlie Crist Republican Richard DeNapoli, who is accused of being a carpetbagger, is running for the Florida House in District 74, has just announced that his campaign has raised a whopping $183,840.80 in the past campaign donation reporting cycle.
But DeNapoli, who is trying his hardest to reach out to Senator Marco Rubio (fat chance Rubio will entertain him) for working against him in 2010, not to mention heckling him on two seperate occasions, has loaned his campaign $150,000. This means that his campaign was only able to raise $33,840.53, of which $1459.66 consisted of In-kind contributions. Review DeNapoli’s campaign donations here
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
But there is more. Of the $33840.53 reported, DeNapoli donated $1500 from three businesses, which are all registered to him, and use the same address (presumably his home address) as their business location.
-Law Offices of Richard DeNapoli-$500
-Sunshine USA Properties, LLC-$500-Best Florida Mortgage, Inc.-$500
Then there are the family donations to his campaign.
First, his homemaker wife, Brigita DeNapoli, donated the maximum $500. Then, both his mother Donna DeNapoli, and sister Julie DeNapoli, also maxed out with $500 donations. Again, you can review the campaign donations here.Upon reading his campaign finance report, it is interesting to point out that DeNapoli has only been able to raise money in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. I would say that 90%+ of his campaign donations come from those two Florida counties, which translates into DeNapoli not being able to raise money within Sarasota county, the county which encompasses all of State House District 74.
After picking the low-lying fruit in Broward County, has the well run dry for Richard DeNapoli?
Here is what I expect will happen.
Richard DeNapoli will not spend the $150k he loaned himself, or the $1500 that his companies donated to his campaign, and will drop out of the race, stating the best interest of the party, as the reason of doing so.
