The city of Bartow, Florida, is fining residents $25 a day for displaying a “God Bless American” sign in the front yard.About 300 of the signs were handed out at First Baptist Church of Bartow following a Fourth of July sermon. But three months later, City of Bartow Code Enforcement says the temporary signs have worn out their welcome.
The city says that the signs can only be displayed on days that are “relevant” to the signs, such as the 4th of July.

The residents of Bartow are outraged that, as Americans, they cannot display a sign that celebrates 238 years of American Exceptionalism.
