Freshman Congressman Ron DeSantis’ (R-FL) James Madison Congressional Accountability Act preventing Congress and their staffers from received an exemption from Obamacare, passed in the U.S. House of Representatives, as part of the Continuing Resolution.According to DeSantis’ office, the bill “prohibits the Obama administration from issuing special and unauthorized subsidies to members of Congress and congressional staff for use on the ObamaCare exchanges.”
“It is appalling that the bureaucracy has attempted to shield Washington insiders from the plain text of ObamaCare by illegally granting members of Congress special subsidies not available to the American people,” DeSantis said. “It is a simple issue of fairness: members of Congress, their staff, and the political elite should not be given special relief from the harmful effects of ObamaCare while the rest of America is left holding the bag.

The Obamacare exchanges will start full implementation of the job-killing legislation on October 1, leaving many Americans in the dark, as to what exactly this will mean to their healthcare coverage, but more importantly, how will this affect their jobs down the road.
