Just as Senator Ted Cruz (R) was finishing his epic 21-hour speech on the Senate floor, Congressman Alan Grayson (D) release another fundraising email, lashing out against “Tea Party Republicans,” who he feels don’t just want to shutdown the government, but shut it down “in order to deny healthcare to millions of Americans.”Grayson also stated that Republicans want to make it “absolutely certain, that sick people cannot get the care that they need to stay alive.”

This use of language is not uncommon for Grayson, for as you recall back in 2009, Grayson stated on the House floor that “Republicans want you to die quickly,” referring to what he believes to be the Republican healthcare plan.

If we really wanted to deny millions of sick people the ability to seek the care they need, and wanted to leave millions of Americans uninsured, then the easiest way to do that would be to simply vote for immediate and full implementation of Obamacare, as did Mr. Grayson.
