Arguably the Republican Party of Florida top strategist, and one of the leading pollsters nationwide, made a rare speaking engagement in Miami, Florida, this week. Tony Fabrizio, who just happens to be Governor Rick Scott’s closest advisor and political strategist accepted an invitation to speak at the monthly meeting of the Women’s Republican Club of Miami-Federated.

Known and described by some as the ” Great Oz” of the Republican Party, Fabrizio spoke to the group about past election results, the failed strategies behind them, as well as some positives for the GOP moving forward.

Fabrizio is not one to mince his words, and did not disappoint when he gave his opinion about the recent Romney for President strategy, especially in the closing days of the 2012 General Election.

When I saw Romney go into Pennsylvania in the last ten days of the election, I thought, either they have too much money and couldn’t spend it all, or someone was smoking weed. Because there was no way that Pennsylvania was going to be competitive, no way.

Fabrizio then added what Republican activists, pundits and Tea Party types believe,” The  party bosses mean nothing.”

As far as his thought of what kind of potential Republican Presidential nominee could win the nomination in 2016, I have to disagree with the man pulling the strings behind the political curtain.

Fabrizio doesn’t believe there will be a pro-choice or pro-tax republican presidential nominee in the near future, because  as he puts it,” its just not going to happen.”
