That is the title of former Republican Governor Charlie Crist’s soon to be written book, which clearly signals that he will be running for office.
Crist’s political evolution continues to makes him the most laughable politician in American history. Crist is now suggesting that he only became a Democrat because the “extreme right high jacked” the Republican Party.
Crist, in typical fashion, flip-flops on his own statement that being a Democrat was always where he should have been. So, if Crist believes he should have been a Democrat all along, why didn’t he become a Democrat from the beginning, or shortly after enter politics?“When you’re in a Republican primary — especially 2010, which was kind of the zenith I think of a very hard right turn, if you will — I really felt like a round hole in a square peg. It was difficult for me,” Crist said in the interview airing Sunday at 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. “You have to be true to yourself. Going independent, and then finally a Democrat has made me a much more comfortable person, much more comfortable politically. Crist is obviously referring to the 2009 Tea Party movement, with their ‘radical’ less government, lower taxes, pro-Life, and traditional marriage positions,as the extreme element that “high jacked” the GOP
But wait, these are all issues Crist campaign in support of, and championed while Governor of Florida. So in essence, Charlie Crist could be considered to be one of the original Tea Party patriots, right?
