Everyone in the state of Florida evidently knows Charlie Crist is running for Governor, except Charlie Crist. Or at least that is what he’d like you to believe for the moment. The former Governor/Republican/Independent and now Democrat is continuing to line up his cast of usual liberal suspects, with a few surprises in the mix.
Aside from Crist’s wife and father who always play a vital role in his campaigns, Crist has scourged the state overturning every liberal rock to assemble his stellar team of operatives. That list includes several low profile businessmen from across the state, many politicians to add to his bastion of liberal riff-raff, including political hacks like long time friend, Greg Truax, a political consultant who now attends every event with Crist. Even Crist supporters from within the Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) will undoubtedly remain on board after attacks against Marco Rubio during the 2010 campaign.

Of particular note is former tarnished Congressman Robert Wexler (D-FL), who was embroiled in highly suspected scandals which is rumored to have caused his untimely resignation from Congress. And if Wexler’s hands are dirty, then most certainly Eric Johnson, his former Chief of Staff and Charlie Crist consultant may also need some hand sanitizer.
Then, enter Michelle Todd, a former disgraced Republican Party of Florida Staffer, with her tarnished failed attempt to get Crist elected to the Senate in 2010. Just last year, Todd attended a luncheon with Crist hosted by the Poynter Institute with Truax in attendance, as well as the moderate Republican State Senator, Jack Latvala. Todd is said to frequently field any questions for interview requests on Crist’s behalf. Yet, there is more to Michelle Todd.***( For those of you in Rio Linda, Todd was disgraced from the Republican Party when she decided to continue supporting Crist after he jumped the GOP ship only)
Down the line of degradation we go, because Michelle Todd is married to the infantile leftist-blogger Peter Schorsch, known for unleashing the hounds of hell on big conservative names such as Allen West, Senator Marco Rubio and especially Gov. Rick Scott. Charlie Crist even officiated the lovely couple’s wedding.
However, interestingly enough, all of Schorsch’s scathing articles concerning Marco Rubio have magically been scrubbed. If you visit, this article from The Reid Report another liberal blog, and click on the first link available under Peter Schorsch’s name, it will lead you to a big fat page of nothing. It’s all been carefully removed.What is Schorsch’s reasoning behind scrubbing negative pieces of work concerning Marco Rubio?
In addition, the links to a Crist campaign email, Schorsch published on his site in full stating Crist was within “striking distance” of Rubio has also carefully disappeared. Which is very curious, don’t you think?
Johnson, Wexler, Truax,Todd, Schorsch…Peter Schorsch of Saint Petersblog reprinted an entire Charlie Crist campaign email. The email states that Crist is within “striking distance” of opponent Marco Rubio. These campaign emails always portray their candidates in the best positive light. What is interesting is that Schorsch provides a link to the campaign webpage to contribute to Crist.
Schorsch seemed resigned to the fact that Rubio will be Florida’s next Senator.
