The Huffington Puffington Post has reported that Republicans have taken issue with the Democratic National Committee for allegedly exploiting the Boston Marathon bombing by launching a website “encouraging users to express their gratitude to Boston’s first responders.”According to HuffPo, Republicans are taking issue with the email capture option on the website. The page in which the email capture option is found, asks for people to “add” their names to the “thank you note,” but in the actual information capture section, visitors are the required include their first and last name, email, zip code, before they can successfully submit the form

The GOP’s Tim Miller called them out on Twitter.
“Our supporters were looking for an outlet to express their gratitude and support for first responders in the wake of the tragedy in Boston, and collecting messages of thanks to deliver to them we concluded was the best outlet we could give them.
