Senator Ted Cruz pressured Attorney General Eric Holder to finally admit that the targeted killing of U.S. Citizens by drones, who do not pose an imminent threat is illegal under the Constitution of the United States.

 Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, held a remarkable five-minute back-and-forth with Attorney General Eric Holder over whether or not it was unconstitutional to kill a US citizen on US soil with a drone strike absent that person providing an “imminent threat.” After much bobbing and weaving Holder finally conceded that such a strike would not constitutional.-Examiner

Cruz concluded his questioning time by stating that he would be introducing legislation in the Senate that would state the U.S. government could not kill Americans “absent an imminent threat.”
