Senator Rand Paul continues to impress us here at the Shark Tank by consistently taking the fight to the highly questionable practices of the Obama Administration. Paul deserves yet another merit badge for his threat to place a hold on CIA Director-nominee John Brennan over concerns about the extent of the administration’s targeting of U.S. Citizens oversees.
The Obama administration has given the OK to target U.S. citizens for killing if they are deemed a potential threat to the United States. Paul is asking Brennan to clarify the administration’s position of targeting U.S. Citizens abroad, asking if this targeting could also include the targeting of Americans on home soil. Paul says he will not vote for Brennan if this question is not answered-

Democrat Senator Diane Feinstein has also expressed similar reservations about Brennan, saying that “senators need to see more classified legal opinions that justify using the unmanned spy planes to kill al-Qaeda suspects overseas, including American citizens.”
