The bright side for the Republicans in Florida is that its newly elected members of Congress are ready and willing to articulate a concise and effective message that sway the electorate to support a revamped Republican Party.
The newly elected Republicans to watch are: Congressman-elect Trey Radel, who won Congressman Connie Mack’s old congressional seat; Ron DeSantis (pictured),who won the newly drawn district in the Jacksonville, Florida area; Ted Yoho, who replaced the moderate-Republican Cliff Stearns in north central Florida; and of course incumbent Republican congressmen Steve Southerland and Tom Rooney.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Rooney has been one of few Republican members of congress who have stood up to Obama’s failed foreign policies, by expressing his concerns and objections in the strongest terms possible.
Radel has also told the Shark Tank that he will be clearly articulating his conservative principles and holding the Obama administration accountable for their actions. The Benghazi consulate cover up scandal will be the first test posed to Rooney, Radel, DeSantis and other Republicans, as all eyes will be on them as to how they deal with this ongoing coverup.
