By Javier ManjarresFlorida State House Representative Joe Abruzzo (D) attended ‘Jewish-based’ forum in Boca Raton and took to the stage by himself to answer a few questions from the assembled panel of local business and synagogue leaders.
Absent from the forum was Abruzzo’s Republican challenger in their District 25 Senate Race Melanie Peterson, and the reason for her absence is not known to the Shark Tank. Abruzzo is touted by many Republicans as being ‘business-friendly’- many of whom are people who have railed against Obamacare and are proponents of repealing and replacing it.
For all of you Republican supporters fo Abruzzo, chew on this- Abruzzo is now on record fully supporting Obamacare, even going so far to say that he is looking forward to getting back to Tallahassee to “make sure the right implementation of the healthcare bill that truly benefits our residents right here in Florida.”
Do you think these so-called conservative Republicans who are backing Abruzzo will continue to tout his “business friendliness” after this?
