Congressman Allen West tore into his Democrat congressional opponent Patrick Murphy, questioning his manhood after Murphy attacked West’s military service. In 2003, Lt. Colonel Allen West’s decision to revert to using ‘persuasive’ interrogation techniques on a suspected ‘double-agent’ who was working along side the U.S. Army, saved countless American and Iraqi lives. During the interrogation, the subject divulged to Army interrogators where and when an ambush on U.S. troops was to take place. Equipped with this fresh intelligence, West sent out soldiers to ‘neutralize’ the insurgents.
Here is Allen West’s smack down of Patrick Murphy-
“I stand by the actions I took to protect the lives of my men in Iraq in 2003,” Allen West said. “I paid a small fine for breaking rules in an effort to save the lives of my men. I still have my honorable discharge certificate as a Lieutenant Colonel and I voluntarily submitted my retirement paperwork upon redeploying from Iraq. Patrick Murphy has never volunteered to serve this country. If put in that situation, it is obvious Patrick Murphy would risk neither his life nor endanger his career for those he was entrusted to lead.”- Allen West
“What kind of man who has never worn the uniform attacks an honorably discharged combat veteran for protecting the lives of his soldiers? A desperate man and apparently the same kind of man who calls a decorated combat veteran a coward, hides behind his father’s racist attack ads, gets into drunken bar fights, verbally assaults police officers and then uses his family’s connections to get out of trouble.”-West Campaign Manager Tim Edson.
