Jose Lambiet is the managing editor of Gossip Extra, a Palm Beach-based gossip rag, and he’s just posted a very scurrilous article that attempts to portray Congressman Allen West as being some kind of  “sex fiend,” and he makes the allegation based on his claim that he’s in possession of a handwritten letter purportedly written by West to his wife Angela.

First off, if Lambiet is in possession of such a letter, how did he obtain a private and personal letter of this nature?  He doesn’t say in his article.  And second, if this letter really is an original letter that was authored by West himself, are we to believe that it was either Congressman West or his wife who disclosed this letter? Again, highly unlikely.

Something tells me that his letter is a desperate fabricated attempt to smear West by his opponent Patrick Murphy and/or West liberal Democrat detractors.

Is it too much to speculate that Patrick Murphy has a hand in this dirty trick? As many of you know, Patrick Murphy had a run-in with the law when he was 19 years old. No biggie, these things happen.  But what’s more relevant for purposes of this campaign are the outright tasteless ads he and his father’s Political Action Committee have targeted towards West, and when you have the Democrat establishment identifying Allen West as their #1 target, the likelihood that Murphy campaign is behind this scurrilous attack becomes very plausible.
