Kleefisch Predicts Wisconsin GOP Win in November

Before the recent Wisconsin gubernatorial recall race that had Democrats betting the house on defeating Republican Governor Scott Walker, DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz stated that the recall election was a “dry run” for the Obama’s presidential campaign.

“I think Tom Barrett will pull this out,” she added, “but regardless it has given the Obama for America operation an opportunity to do the dry run that we need of our massive, significant, dynamic grassroots presidential campaign, which can’t really be matched by the Romney campaign or the Republicans, because they’ve ignored the ground operations.” -Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz

The Democrats and their “massive, significant, dynamic grassroots” campaign were completely taken apart by a more effective and efficient Republican ground game that delivered the win for Governor Scott Walker and Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch.

I caught up with Lt. Governor Kleefisch at the Convention on Monday, and she had some thoughts regarding Wasserman Schultz’ “dry run” comment.

If that was a dry run for the election, come November, then I am very fearful for what that means for the Democrat party in Wisconsin. – Wisconsin Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch

Kleefisch predicted that Wisconsin will “turn red in November.”
