Fresh off his Senate primary win in Texas, conservative grassroots favorite Ted Cruz spoke to the Shark Tank about his impressive victory and his general election prospects shortly after addressing the attendees at the 4th Annual Redstate Gathering in Jacksonville.
During his speech, Cruz did his best Ronald Reagan impersonation, but he seemed to lose his stride after the first couple of words- we’ll give him an ‘A’ for effort. Cruz spoke about the two primary heroes in his life, those being Reagan and his father. We then asked him about the role his wife played in his campaign, and Cruz deftly answered in a manner that is likely to score him big brownie points at home.
