By Javier ManjarresCongresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz continues on with her fear-mongering and scaring of seniors in New Hampshire by stating that GOP Presidential nominee Mitt Romney’s healthcare plan would force seniors out of nursing homes and “out in the cold” if they were to elect him president.
Here is what Foster’s reported last weekend-
Schultz said Romney endorses the GOP budget crafted by Congressman Paul Ryan, which would “end Medicare as we know it” by converting the program into a voucher system. The change would cost the average senior an extra $6,300 in annual Medicare premiums, she claimed.-Fosters
But this is just the latest in a string of controversial statements that Congresswoman Wasserman Schultz has made against Republican efforts to oppose, overhaul, or repeal President Obama’s healthcare mandate.
Way back on July 18, 2010, Congresswoman Wasserman Schultz went on the record with the Shark Tank and reaffirmed her statement that “the Republican strategy of repeal is a death sentence for countless numbers of Americans.” (Source-Shark-Tank)

We will assume that this statement is directed at the senior population that is currently in nursing homes or will soon be making a move to those assisted living facilities and will be forced “out in the cold,” as she stated this weekend.
Congresswoman Wasserman Schultz faces a tough general election as Republican Karen Harrington’s congressional campaign continues to build on its 2010 campaign and building support from Republicans, Independents, and even disenfranchised Democrats who voted for Congresswoman Wasserman Schultz. If you liked the article, please share it below. Thanks!
