Given how busy Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz is these days with making more ‘important’ appearances and campaign events on behalf of the DNC and President Barack Obama, many constituents in her district are understandably feeling a bit slighted by their representative in Congress of late. But to her credit, Wasserman Schultz still finds the time to directly respond to constituents’ concerns- even if her responses are filled with trademark DWS exaggerations that don’t come close to passing the smell test. The Shark Tank has obtained an official letter from Wasserman Schultz’ office that is currently being circulated throughout Broward County in response to concerns she received from one of her constituents.
Wasserman Schultz dutifully informed her constituent that “My colleagues in Congress and I know the challenges facing our nation require an open and honest debate…. Democrats in Congress and President Obama are committed to creating the most transparent, open and accessible government in our history.”
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Come again?
Most transparent, open, accessible government in history?
Like the legislative cramdown of ObamaCare? Or the assertion of Executive Privilege relating to documents in the Fast & Furious case?
Riiiiiiiiight.
Wasserman Schultz’ Republican opponent Karen Harrington offered the following in response to her claims about “transparency”-
Congresswoman Wasserman Schultz Continues to Deceive AmericansCongresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, or do we call her Congressman Deborah Schultz, is once again deceiving Americans, including those living in her congressional district..In a recent email response to a letter written by a concerned constituent, Congresswoman Schultz tells the constituent that there needs to be an “open and honest debate,” in regards to the challenges that face our country. The Congresswoman also adds, “Democrats in Congress and President Obama are committed to creating the most transparent, open and accessible government in our history.”
The Congresswoman’s hypocrisy is brazen, being that she has supported President Obama’s not-so-transparent ‘Czar’ appointments, the ongoing ‘Fast and Furious’ document cover-up, the ominous and unconstitutional Obamacare law that the Supreme Court has now called a tax.
The Congresswoman also refers to herself as being ‘middle class,’ but with a congressional salary, two homes, a spouse’s undetermined income as a bank vice president, and growing bank assets, does she still believe that she is just like every other hard working middle class American?
If the Congresswoman is really committed to ‘transparency,’ then she will not have a problem granting our request to release her tax returns, right?
You said it yourself Congresswoman, you are “committed to creating the most transparent, open and accessible Government,” so it would be fitting that the transparency in government start with you.-Karen Harrington
