Florida’s Senator Bill Nelson is facing a significant challenge to his Senate seat this fall as a greater number of Americans are growing more disillusioned by President Obama and his failed economic and foreign policies.Nelson has supported just about all of the Obama agenda and will most likely face Congressman Connie Mack, who is leading in the Republican Senate primary polls by a significant margin over former Senator George LeMieux.
The race may shake up a bit now that former Congressman Dave Weldon has checked into the race and will undoubtedly pick up a significant amount of conservative grassroots votes, but most expect Mack to finish well beyond the rest of the pack.

Now the advocacy group 60 Plus Association is hitting Nelson hard with a video about the Senator’s support for President Obama’s failed agenda.
Recent polls have showed that Republican Presidential Nominee Mitt Romney is leading Obama in Florida. Romney also may consider Senator Marco Rubio as his VP running mate, which could further aid candidates and down the ticket here in Florida. Even if Rubio doesn’t get the nod, he is likely to strongly campaign for Romney across the state, and there may very well be enough momentum leading up to the election night to tip the race in Mack’s favor and a likely majority in the U.S. Senate.Bill Nelson supports President Obama’s policies that hurt hardworking taxpayers, he voted for Obama’s failed $800 billion stimulus, but unemployment still went up. And was a deciding vote for the healthcare law that cuts $500billion form Medicare to pay for new government programs.” -60 Plus Association(Video)
